We are so happy to work and live in the best city on earth, KCMO. Chief of Staff is a local, boutique style firm that services our local employers and those that live and work here. Our clients have expressed their desire to work with a Kansas City based recruitment firm and we are happy to be one of the only locally owned agencies in KCMO. We are very proud of the contributions we have and will continue to make in this market. We have done business with 82 local companies and employed hundreds of (tax paying) individuals in Kansas City since our inception in 2011. We also support local businesses in every way possible. From the corporate gifts we select to the restaurants and vendors we work with, it is important to support local entrepreneurs and businesses by contributing to the success of our great city.

The mission of Operation Breakthrough is to help children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential by providing them a safe, loving and educational environment. Operation Breakthrough also strives to support and empower the children’s families through advocacy, referral services and emergency aid.
Our vision is a world where women do not live in poverty. We strive for a world where all women are financially independent, are treated with dignity and respect and are directly impacting their lives and those of their families. We aspire to a world that fully harnesses the power of women and recognizes their role in economic sustainability.
The Bridge is a lot like the people who create that music. Genuine. Spirited. Surprising. Exquisitely un-self-conscious. We believe in spontaneity and in breaking down barriers between genres, between eras, between the familiar and the undiscovered. We weave new, rare and local music into all of our playlists, right alongside familiar hits and classics you know and love, with the common thread of greatness. We connect music lovers with music makers through unique performances and interviews. No other station does what we do. And nobody else in town plays as much local music as The Bridge. Period. We invite you to join a movement to revolutionize the way Kansas City discovers music that deserves to be heard: Tune in. Turn on. Listen local.
As the only non-profit membership organization specifically representing industrial businesses in Kansas City, KCIC is often in the position to remind our lawmakers just how important industry is for our city. We offer our members a voice at the city, state and federal levels where we work to inform policy and bring needed dollars to our industrial areas. We also work throughout the year to connect our members via networking events and educational opportunities.
The Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP) was founded in 1995 by Barnett Helzberg, Jr., former owner and President of Helzberg Diamonds. Inspired by his twenty-three year mentoring relationship with Ewing Kauffman, HEMP matches seasoned, successful entrepreneur mentors with less-experienced entrepreneur mentees. Considerable mentoring is also fostered through peer-to-peer relationships derived from involvement through HEMP.
Components of the program include a one-on-one mentoring relationship, networking opportunities with peers and veteran business owners, exposure to mentoring skills that can be applied to any professional or personal situation, business educations discussing greatest successes and lessons learned from peers and top CEOs in the community, and field trips to locations of entrepreneurial interest within the Kansas City area.
